Dr. Palafox is principal investigator on the Department of Energy/PHRI Special Medical Care Program in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, which provides annual medical examinations and follow up care for possible radiation-related conditions for people exposed to fallout from U.S. nuclear tests in the 1950s.
